First, let's cover the pockets. This bag's got a zippered pocket on the front for your smaller items. The main zippered compartment, which runs along the side of the bag, is large enough for your clothes, gear, and anything else you might need while you're out. Second, the straps. There are two sets of straps with this bag. The first is the three that go around the sides and base that allow you to adjust the size of the bag. The second is the three straps on the back that adjust around you.
