Ellington Leather - Stella Travel Tote/Pack

Perfect Travel Bag, 8-10-2008

I just returned from a 2-week trip to Germany and Poland where this was my daily bag. It was perfect! The bag holds a tremendous amount of stuff (I typically carried my wallet, small cosmetics bag, glasses, sun glasses, GPS unit, portable fan, digital camera, spare batteries, a small water bottle and plenty more small items such as chewing gum, pen and notepad, etc.). Because the Stella pack is so lightweight, the bag never felt too heavy. And when I got tired carrying it on my shoulder, I just pulled the straps to convert it to a backpack. It was very comfortable carrying it both ways, but I never looked too casual either. My favorite feature is the so-called "front-wall pocket" with its magnetic closure. It closes so flatly and discreetly that no one can tell that it is even there. Perfect for storing small valuables safely away. Apart from a few inconspicious stains it received on its bottom when I sat it down on not-so-clean floors, it looks as good as new after these 2 weeks of intense travel. As with all Ellington bags, it is very well made, no fear of tearing seams, straps coming loose or zippers breaking. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this super-versatile bag to anyone without hesitation.
