Ellington Leather

Ellington Leather Goods began in 1986 while its founder, Alecia Elsasser, was on a college program overseas. She coveted a handmade leather rucksack that she picked up at an open market. Before returning to the states, Alecia wrote her parents asking to borrow money to have 20 packs made. Her youthful enthusiasm convinced them and she headed home to sell her first product -- the Original Rucksack. It is still the flagship piece of the entire Ellington leather line. Ellington Leather Goods has evolved into a small family-owned business producing some of the finest leather bags in the industry. In 2004 they launched a new line of colorful micro-fiber and canvas bags that continue the Ellington tradition of quality and utility.
